Bonnie Ryan is an accomplished and successful supply chain, IT and eCommerce professional with over 20 years’ experience in different industry sectors. Prior to joining GS1 Australia in 2007, she held senior business development and product management roles with AT&T, Connect.com and Pronto Software. With knowledge and expertise about the role of information technology in supply chain integration and management, Bonnie is currently responsible for driving engagement within the Australian Transport & Heavy Industrial sectors to increase supply chain efficiency through the adoption of GS1 global data standards. Bonnie leads the development and implementation of key supply chain visibility and productivity projects, sector-wide programs and the introduction of new standards to improve efficiency and better connect the automated supply chain. Providing leadership and proficiency, Bonnie works with key stakeholders to improve supply chain management processes across the whole industry. She is active on several local and global industry working groups to ensure Australian industry requirements are met to bring real benefits to Australian businesses and the economy. Bonnie holds a Master of Business Management from Monash University.
The rail industry has been working together for over two years to agree on standards to be implemented for the common identification and marking of parts and components.
